Realme Pad X: another technically very interesting tablet


For the moment only announced in China, the Realme Pad X offers a good design-performance-connectivity-price compromise.

After a first interesting tablet, the Realme Pad then the Pad Mini, the Chinese brand is accelerating and announcing a tablet boosted with 5G. It’s not a high-end tablet, but it does offer a nice spec sheet for its price.

A correct technical sheet

The Realme Pad X relies on a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 and an 11-inch screen in IPS technology and 2K definitionit also offers four speakers and a fairly slim design.

In terms of connectivity, the Realme Pad X adds the 5G and WiFi 6. For storage, 64 GB base seems to be its weak point… but it’s a way to lower the price of the tablet. Note that the tablet has a microSD slot, which allows for storage expansion.

The tablet also offers compatibility with a separately sold stylus, it displays up to 4,096 pressure levels and can be magnetically attached to the edge of the tablet for charging. This will obviously make you think of tablets from Samsung and Huawei.

On the audio side, Realme offers four speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The base operating system is Android 12 with the RealmeUI 3.0 interface, suitable for tablets. The battery capacity is 8,340mAh, with 33W fast charging via the USB-C port.

The Realme Pad X has been presented in China at the moment. We don’t know yet when and if it will be available in other countries. There are multiple colorways, including gray, blue, and green, as well as two RAM and storage configurations. Prices start at 1299 yuan (about 180 euros) up to 1599 yuan (about 220 euros).
