A young car driver was injured in a traffic accident in Innsbruck on Sunday afternoon. A 71-year-old motorist behind her, unaware that she was about to turn, crashed into the rear of her car.
At around 2:40 p.m., the 27-year-old was driving her car on Völser Straße. “At the intersection with Geroldsbachweg, the driver wanted to turn into this,” the police describe how the accident happened: A car driver who was driving directly behind the local missed her maneuver and drove into the 27-year-old’s car. The young woman suffered injuries as a result of the impact. After first aid by the rescue service, she was taken to the Innsbruck clinic. Property damage was caused to both vehicles involved in the accident.
