Star director Christopher Nolan gave Marvel, DC and Star Wars a solid rejection in the summer and revealed in an interview that he had no plans to work on a “Star Wars” film or superhero films. In his opinion, it would be a big loss if Zack Snyder also gave up his work on exciting science fiction films.

Nolan worked as a producer alongside Snyder on 2013’s “Man of Steel” and was able to observe his work up close. In a recent profile in The Atlantic, Nolan was quoted revealing what he thinks of his colleague Snyder and his work. He said:

“There’s not a superhero sci-fi movie that comes out these days where I don’t see some influence from Zack. […] When you watch a Zack Snyder film, you can see and feel his love for the potential of cinema. The potential to be fantastic, to be heightened in one’s reality, but also to move and inspire them.”

But Christopher Nolan also sold out cinemas in the summer of 2023 with his historical epic “Oppenheimer” and has the best chance of winning many coveted awards at the Oscars in March 2024.
