After 32 movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is starting to run out of steam. Now rumors are circulating that the superhero universe will be restarted soon.

  • Even after that, the future of the MCU is quite certain, but interest in the heroes is decreasing, a change is needed.
  • The next Avengers two-parter could now be used to restart the Marvel universe.

Over the past few months, general superhero fatigue has been everywhere. “The Flash”, “Blue Beetle” and “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” all fell short of expectations, only “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” was well received by the audience. Still not a good cut for the future of DC and Marvel, the golden days seem to be over.

DC is already busy here, the new DC universe by James Gunn and Peter Safran is understood as a new start, new heroes and new actors are steering the world of Batman, Superman and Co. in a new direction. And what’s next for Marvel?
