Edeka and Marktkauf have issued a recall for minced meat. It is organic minced meat – and that should contain foreign bodies.

There is a new big recall – for several minced meat products from the supermarket. As reported by "RTL" and the portal "produktwarnung.eu", among others, Edeka Südwest Fleisch GmbH is said to have recalled two types of organic minced meat. They were sold at Edeka and Marktkauf.

Minced meat can contain blue foreign bodies – do not eat!

The affected minced meat should not be eaten. The reason for the recall is that it cannot be ruled out that the products contain small, blue foreign bodies. Even if the blue plastic parts cannot be seen with the naked eye, the hack should no longer be used, there is a risk to health from possible internal injuries, as RTL warns.

Anyone who already has one of the minced meat products in the fridge can simply return it to the relevant Edeka or Marktkauf branch. There, customers should be reimbursed the purchase price even without presenting a receipt.
