Several supermarkets are currently informing about the recall of a ready meal. Metal splinters can lead to internal injuries. Among others, Lidl, Aldi and Rewe are affected.
Attention, hardly any of us can avoid this recall: Who doesn't always have ingredients for a quick pizza in the house? Now several supermarkets are warning of the end of the day. The popular combination packages of ready-made pizza dough and tomato sauce are being recalled.
Almost all common own brands are affected – from Aldi to Rewe. In many cases, however, only individual federal states and special best-before dates are affected by the recall. We give the exact overview:

The manufacturer, "Tante Fanny Frischteig GmbH", refers to the pre-supplier in a press release. This should not be able to exclude that there are metal fragments in the tomato sauce supplied.
Since the metal splinters can lead to internal injuries, the sauce should under no circumstances be consumed! The affected products have already been removed from the market, but if you already have the dough at home, you should bring it back to the appropriate store. Customers will be reimbursed the purchase price without a receipt.
