Reckitt: falling after its annual results


(CercleFinance.com) – Reckitt Benckiser drops 10% in London, after the announcement by the supplier of everyday consumer products of a 5.4% decline in its adjusted EPS to 3.23 pounds sterling under the past financial year, at the end of a fourth quarter which he recognizes as ‘unsatisfactory’.

Still in non-IFRS data, the British company saw its operating margin decline by 0.7 points to 23.1% for revenues of 14.6 billion pounds, up 3.5% on a comparable basis thanks to its hygiene (+5.1%) and health (+5%) divisions.

A total dividend up 5% to 192.5 pence will be proposed for 2023. For 2024, Reckitt anticipates comparable growth of 2 to 4% in its revenues, as well as stronger growth in its adjusted operating profit. .
