Redfall feels more like a Far Cry game than Left 4 Dead, according to Arkane – Redfall

Announced at E3 2021, red fall, which is developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, is expected to arrive this year. Its release date is unfortunately not yet known. However, a lot of information about the software and its gameplay has already been revealed. And again, recently.

Indeed, the developers at Arkane Studios recently gave an interview to journalists from GamesRadar. They then explained that Redfall looks, in many ways, more like Far Cry than Left 4 Dead, a game to which it is very often compared. The studio’s creative director, Ricardo Bare, said of this:

[…] It is completely understandable that a person should come to this conclusion. There are four playable characters, you can play cooperatively, and you fight against undead. But when it comes to gameplay and experience on Redfall, it’s not like those games. Redfall looks more like Far Cry […]

Thus, you will have understood, despite some similarities with Left 4 Dead, Redfall will offer a gaming experience that is intended to be closer to that of Far Cry titles. Moreover, remember that the upcoming software from Arkane Studios is an open-world and that the map should be large enough.

As said before, Redfall does not yet have a release date. The software should arrive during this year 2023 on PC and on Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox Series.
