Life can only be financed thanks to donations
F. wonders what the refugees should live on. “If we didn’t raise any donations, it wouldn’t work at all.” Confronted with this, the state countered: Those who had been to the Innsbruck arrival center would have received cash there for the first week – 50 euros per adult, 25 euros per child. The refugees who stayed with Mr F. did not receive any money – probably also because they were not at the arrival center in Innsbruck. “But we settled that through private initiatives,” says F. in conclusion.
