Dutch actor Reiky de Valk has died at the age of 23, his family announced. He was one of the faces of “Skam NL”, the Netherlands version of the series “Skam”.
The family of actor Reiky de Valk has announced that the 23-year-old actor has taken his own life. He became known for his role as Kes de Beus in the Dutch version of Skam, appearing in 18 of the 21 episodes of the series, which lasted 2 seasons.
His character was based on that of Jonas Noah Vasquez in the original Skam series, and corresponds to that of Yann Cazas (played by Léo Daudin) in the French adaptation.

“Reiky was chosen to shine his light upon us from the sky. He is forever with us all. Forever in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.”
After the Skam adventure, Reiky de Valk then appeared in the adventure series The Mysteries of Hunter Street, but also Following from SOA (in an important role) and the series Dertigers, still in progress, which follows the daily life of a group of six close thirty-somethings.
