Reimbursed taxes, Livret A, wear rate, real estate… What changes for your budget in July

Many changes will impact the consumer wallet from July 1st. Here is the list of what awaits you.

Once again, multiple changes are noted at the start of the month for the household portfolio. A little reminder of what’s to come.

Tax transfer

Nearly 15million households were surprised last summer to receive reimbursement from the Directorate General of Public Finances after paying too much tax at source. Rebelotte this year, the tax authorities will make a transfer to the millions of households concerned on July 21 or August 2. For those who have not sent their bank details, the refund will be made to you by check letter at the end of July or during August.

New usury rates for real estate credit

Intended to protect individuals from abusive borrowing conditions, the usury rates are set quarterly by the Banque de France. The rates in force for the period from April to June therefore come to chance. According to several brokers, between 10% and 15% of borrower files cannot currently obtain a loan because of the method of calculating the wear rate. More transparency on life insurance and PER costs

More transparency on the costs of life insurance, the first financial investment of the French, and the retirement savings plan (PER). New Livret A rate

It is in mid-July that the Banque de France will recommend, to the Minister of the Economy, the Livret A rate that should be applied from 1 August. In view of high inflation, he should recommend a doubling of the Livret A rate which would increase from 1 to 2%, just like its cousin the LDDS. The remuneration of the LEP should it increase from 2.2% to 4.5% from 1 August.

End of new oil or coal boilers

In order to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, the installation ofoil-fired heating or hot water production equipment is prohibited from 1 July, except in the event of the impossibility of using other sources of energy. The devices already installed can continue to be used, maintained and repaired, but financial aid of up to 11,000 euros is planned to encourage their replacement, specifies the service-public site. New equipment installed for heating or hot water production in residential buildings must comply with a greenhouse gas emissions ceiling of 300 gCO2eq/KWh NCV.

Rental advertisements: mandatory information to display

As of July 1, individuals who rent accommodation must mention 8 information on their announcement, explains public service. These include the amount of the monthly rent and, where appropriate, the additional rent (mention per month or /month; the amount of rental charges or recoverable charges (mention charges included or CC) and their terms of payment; the statement area subject to rent control if the accommodation is located in an area governed by a rent control system; the amount of any security deposit required; the furnished nature of the rental; the amount of taxes included fees payable by the tenant when carrying out the inventory; of the municipality or even the district in which the property is located; the surface area of ​​the property rented in square meters of living space.

1000euros less for the ecological bonus

New for the ecological bonus, this aid for the purchase or lease of a new or used electric or hydrogen vehicle or a new plug-in hybrid vehicle. Its scale is reduced by 1000 euros from July 1st. Also on this date, plug-in hybrids will be excluded from the aid system which will be reserved for electric vehicles whose CO2 emission rate is less than or equal to 20 g/km, recalls public service.

Accumulation of the zero rate co-loan with MaPrimeRnov’

The zero-rate co-loan for a maximum amount of 30,000 euros for finance energy renovation work (housing insulation, change of heating mode) can now be combined with MaPrimeRnov’ in order to finance the same work. The agreement of the National Housing Agency (Anah) for the allocation of MaPrimRnov’ will be sufficient to compile the file with the bank, without it being necessary to provide the list of works concerned. However, the loan must be made within 6 months of this notification from Anah. Only banks that have signed an agreement with the state will be able to make this subsidized loan, specified public service.
