Rekkles, Vizic, Vander … From the Worlds to the LFL, the beautiful cast for 2022

Only numbers 10 in my team. The LFL will be even more beautiful next year with the arrival of more impressive recruits than the others. We talked a little, a lot, passionately about KC Rekkles, but the Swede won’t be the only star to shine in the French league next year. To name a few, we can also highlight Vizicsacsi, Cody Sun or Vander who have all already played the Worlds. Participating in the world is an accomplishment in itself and for our greatest pleasure, here are all the former globalists who landed in France.

Rekkles, a European legend

2020, Quarter-final (Fnatic)
2019, Quarter-final (Fnatic)
2018, Final (Fnatic)
2017, Quarter-final (Fnatic)
2015, Semi-final (Fnatic)
2014, Group stage (Fnatic)

We no longer present Rekkles who landed to everyone’s surprise in the LFL during this crazy transfer window. Arrived like a prince, the Swede is without a doubt the best European ADC in history. Shining for many years with Fnatic, he has competed in the world championships many times where he has acquired the good habit of going through the group stages. In 2018, he even made it to the final.

Rekkles, it’s really very, very heavy and we can’t wait to see it at work with the Karmine Corp. We were hungry for more during the two show matches against KOI (Ibai and Piqué’s team), but for the start of the school year, we hope that he will make France shine. In LFL as in EUM, KC will not aim KELAWIN.

Vander, a demoted dinosaur

2020, Main Event Bands (Rogue)
2016, Semi-final (H2K)

League of Legends

Hard to compete with Rekkles, who has a huge CV and a really trendy branding image. But the second player on our list is not just anyone either. Vander is a regular of the European elite who made the heyday of many teams: Roccat, Schalke 04, H2k, Rogue, Misfits Gaming … During his adventures, he shared the botlane of many famous ADCs, who have always been very laudatory towards him: Hans Sama, Upset, Forg1ven, Kobbe … His experience will be invaluable and even if he is no longer very young (28 years this year), his experience will be invaluable in supporting the young talents in the making of Misfits Premier.

We do not know exactly in what state of mind will be the Support who lost his starting place in team one and finds himself in the academic team rabbits … One might be afraid that he is dragging his feet and not giving his all, like an old elephant that lets itself die. But this is not really the kind of house, especially since he will be happy to meet his compatriot. Woolite, with whom he has already shared a lot of adventures.

Vizicsaci, the former retiree back

2021, Play-In (PEACE)
2019, Quarter-final (Splyce)

Vizic told us before everyone else during the Worlds!

If Vander is an old dinosaur, Vizicsacsi is he a mammoth ! The Hungarian toplaner who had yet retired is back. After having played the Worlds in 2021 to everyone’s surprise with the Pacific team PEACE, benefiting from an unexpected combination of circumstances, he will play next season in the LFL on the side of GamersOrigin. He will be 29 years old in 2022 and will be dangerously close to his thirties. But the motivation is still very present and with very little training, he showed in the last World that he still had good leftovers. We can legitimately doubt that he has the level to play in LEC and it is not surprising to see that no team of the European elite has given him a chance. But for the LFL, it’s a different story and we understand why GO is doing this risky bet, but which can pay off big.

In addition to Worlds 2021, Vizic also participated in global 2019 where he went to the quarterfinals with Splyce. Placed in the pool of FPX, he had notably succeeded in beating the Phoenix, future winners of the tournament.

Cody Sun, the lost American hope

2019, Main Event Groups (Clutch Gaming)
2017, Main Event Bands (Immortals)

League of Legends

His LFL signing went almost unnoticed during the transfer market. Cody Sun has a great career, but it must be said that all the spotlight was on another ADC … However, the signing of the Canadian is even more surprising than that of the Swede. The French league is developing and for the first time, a North American import will play in our French league. The information needs to be verified, but it is surely one of the first cases on the old continent, if we exclude European players who have been in N / A before returning as Santorini, Broken Blade or Treatz. But this oddity is easily explained: Elyandra has become Mirage Elyandra by signing a partnership with a Canadian structure. It is therefore logical that investors have brought an NA talent back in their suitcases.

We don’t really know what to expect from Mirage Elyandra which achieved a very large transfer window on paper. If the roster formed does not seem to lack talent (Cody Sun, Rangjun, Memento …), the bet is still daring. Cody Sun was a great player in the past, but he gradually lost the thread of his career. Will he be able to revive himself by France ?

Cabochard, the noggin quite full

2018, Main Event Groups (Team Vitality)

League of Legends

Cabochard is the first player on our list who is not a plague. The Frenchman already knows the LFL well, since he was already playing in the Karmine Corp This year. Arrived during mid-season to replace Adam, he has already terrorized the toplaners of the French league with his Lee Sin and his licked mechanics. For a while in LEC, the Caboche would have rejected the offers of the elite (including one from Fnatic) to stay with the K Corp. This proof of love has rocked the hearts of the Ultras of the Blue Wall, who will be even more goofy to support him and his teammates. His return to competition was successful after a short break during Spring Split and he won a nice trophy with the EUM Summer. But he still has a lot to accomplish: Cabochard has not yet won the LFL and with the XXL recruitment of his structure, he intends to make up for lost time.

To Worlds, Cabochard had marked the spirits in 2018 with the fantastic adventure of Team Vitality. The team had failed to pass the hens, but had won prestige victories against Gen.G and RNG.

Jactroll, the golden age of bees

2018, Main Event Groups (Team Vitality)

The epic of the bees at the Worlds, Jactroll He also knew her! The Pole was alongside Cabochard during this golden era and this success surely remains one of the highlights of his career. But since then, the Support has traveled a lot and plays in LFL for a year now. Totally adopted by the public, he is even the reigning French champion after his very good season with Misfits Premier. But in 2022, he will no longer be with the Rabbits since he is back with … Team Vitality, but in the academic team (Vitality.Bee). Back at home, the leaders of the bees rubbed their paws: they recruited a quality player while weakening a direct competitor.

We are still a little sad to see the duo Jactroll / Woolite, which had been so good in 2021, broke. However, the Veteran Support is surely the ideal counterpart to support the young Jeskla, promising but still to be polished.

Innaxe, the globalist that we quickly forget

2019, Play-In (Unicorns of Love)

A European legend and Edward. - League of Legends
A European legend and Edward.

The last globalist on our list is by far the least known and the least hyped. Innaxe was already in LFL in 2021 and he went through the year in complete anonymity, with two 7th places at Spring and Summer with GamersOrigin. This year, he remains in France but changes team since he will wear the colors of GameWard. But before being an LFL talent, the Bulgarian still had the opportunity to compete in the Worlds in 2019 with Unicorns of Love. He had certainly failed to qualify for the Main Event, but he had won the Russian league (TCL) before giving a hard time to Splyce (an LEC team) in the qualifying match (loss 2-3). Even if in France, we have not seen it in its best light, Innaxe still has potential. Even if his recruitment did not provoke an insane wave of enthusiasm, we must put a little respect under his name.

esport-lol

First impressions are often important and for their first year in LEC, Team BDS decided to hit hard. His transfer window, discreet but effective, should ensure him solid results while ensuring the support of the French community. Masterclass in anticipation?
