Ahead of a likely imminent announcement, Ubisoft itself is leaking the release date for Mario + Rabbids 2 Sparks of Hope. We also discover the existence of a Gold edition.
That’s what’s called a pretty dumpling! By updating, a little too quickly, the game sheet of the exclusive Switch Mario + The Rabbids 2 Sparks of Hope, Ubisoft reveals its release date. The title will have the right to several versions.
Mario + Rabbids 2 coming to Switch in October
While it could appear during the Nintendo Direct Mini or a few hours later, the Mario + Rabbids 2 release date is already circulating on the Web. This suite will be available from October 20, 2022, exclusive to Nintendo Switch. You can see the archived page (via Gematsu).
Sparks of Hope will be available in classic version and in a gold edition. The latter will include the base game as well as a season pass for future DLCs. Just cosmetics? No, there will be story content for story mode with new heroes, quests and battles. We also note the presence of a “Galactic Prestige” pack to immediately unlock three exclusive weapon skins.
A more muscular sequel
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be another tactical adventure. Nevertheless, this episode will offer more freedom in the combat system with the introduction of real-time elements and the removal of boxes. However, there will be a limit in the movements that can be made.
Team up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bunny Peach, Bunny Luigi and their friends on a galactic journey to defeat a malevolent entity and rescue your fellow Sparks. Explore planets across the galaxy to solve mysterious secrets and take on exciting quests!
