Oppo could be about to release the first real competitor to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, with a launch in Europe. We take stock of the rumors surrounding this Oppo Find N2, as well as its possible cousin, the Oppo Find N Flip, which would attack the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Who will dare to challenge Samsung first on the folding field? For months, we have been regularly talking about smartphones in book format on Frandroid, we even take some in hand, but none of these phones finally reach us. The first Oppo Find N of the name impressed us a lot with its much more compact format than all its competitors. As the release of the second generation of Oppo’s folding camera approaches, the time has come to take stock of the rumors.
Find N2 release date in Europe
The most important of all the information about the Oppo Find N2 in our eyes is whether it will be released in Europe, and therefore in France, or not. According to the leaker Mukul Sharmaa European release would be well planned.
There might not even be much time left to wait. The Digital Chat Station leaker claims that the launch of the device is scheduled for December 2022. This seems quite likely, because let’s remember, the Oppo Find N first of the name was unveiled on December 15, 2021 during the Inno Days .
As often with Chinese brands, it will probably take a few weeks before being set on a European arrival. For the price, you should probably expect a price close to that of a Galaxy Z Fold 4, which starts as a reminder at 1799 euros.
Weight and design of the Oppo Find N2
Unfortunately, no information on the look of the device or any visual has yet filtered. It is therefore impossible to comment with certainty on the envelope that this Oppo Find N2 will take.

On the other hand, some elements have already leaked. Ice Universe affirms for example that it would be one of the lightest folders ever released. It would indeed approach 234g, which would make it a lighter phone than an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It would also integrate a 7.1-inch internal screen with Oled display at 120 Hz.
Oppo Find N2 camera
Under the hood, the Oppo Find N2 would offer a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, one of the best chips of 2022 which would not only provide a good level of performance, but also not too much heat. The phone would pass its turn on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which is about to be unveiled by Qualcomm.
As for the photo configuration, the Oppo Find N would integrate a three-camera solution. A wide angle with 50 megapixel sensor, an ultra wide angle with 48 megapixel sensor and an X2 telephoto lens with 32 megapixel sensor. We can clearly see the influence of the Oppo Find X5 Pro in this last choice.
A possible Oppo Find N Flip?
During the summer, several rumors pointed to a possible second folding smartphone unveiled by Oppo in clamshell format. At this point, the rumors have died down a bit about this Galaxy Z Flip 4 competitor.
The Oppo Find N Flip, as it’s called at the moment, however, would be nice on the Chinese giant’s shelves with a planned release in Europe as well. Some leakers claim that Oppo would release it later, leaving a few months between the two launches.
