And if you haven’t returned to the service for a few days, know that one of the most anticipated series of January 2024, Griselda, is finally available. It is a six-episode short program, directed by the showrunner of Narcos with Sofia Vergara (Moden Family) in the lead role, which tells the story of drug lord Griselda Blanco. What’s new on Netflix for this week 5? This is clearly one of the busiest ever for new films. In a few hours, you will be able to dive back into the violent and gory universe of Mortal Kombat with the latest feature film released in 2021. If the press was quite divided, the public gave it a warmer welcome and a sequel is due. elsewhere on the way.
Then, it will accelerate with a slew of arrivals for February 1, including two absolutely cult films for an entire generation: Mom, I missed the plane! and Mom, I missed the plane again! There’s no real need to introduce them at this point, but for younger kids, they’re extremely successful comedies where Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) is forgotten by his parents while they go on a trip and will have to defend himself against two well-versed burglars. The Netflix releases from January 29 to February 4, 2024 will also be punctuated by Hitch: expert in seduction or Closer between consenting adults with Natalie Portman, Clive Owen, Jude Law and Julia Roberts.

Netflix series of the week from January 29 to February 4, 2024 (S5)
The Netflix series for week 5 will not be outdone with part 1 of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. A clearly unmissable novelty for fans of the manga. If you’re craving a heist after Casa de Papel spin-off Berlin, the Chilean show Baby Bandito might be able to fill that void. We follow skateboarder Kevin who will try to impress his new conquest, from a privileged background, by attacking gangsters. The young man will in fact steal a plan which should allow him to steal millions later. A series inspired by a heist that actually took place in Chile in 2014. In the new Netflix series from January 29 to February 4, 2024, we also notice the presence of Dr. House in its entirety. Gregory House fans will be in heaven as the seasons will be available starting February 1st.

New documentaries and Netflix shows (S5)
For this new week, it’s a little more timid in terms of Netflix docs, but there is still a great entry for Nascar fans. The documentary series Nascar: Full Speed will show the battle between dozens of drivers to achieve victory in the 2023 Nascar Cup Series. “The program will feature exclusive, in-depth access to a range of drivers and teams, including Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Ross Chastain, Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Joey Logano and Tyler Reddick.”. A behind-the-scenes look at an impressive and dangerous discipline with clips on and off the track. It will be January 30 exclusively on Netflix.
