Relive History Starting September 26 in Wrath of the Lich King Classic

The most popular extension of World of Warcraft returns very soon to bring players back to their first steps in Northrend. Slated for a worldwide launch on September 26 on PC, Wrath of the Lich King Classic will launch precisely on the 27th at midnight in France.

In the grim Citadel of Icecrown, the Lich King Arthas Menethil plots to take over the world, a project that threatens to eradicate all life on Azeroth. The heroes and heroines of the Alliance and the Horde must stand against this evil being who dares to claim that he is the only rightful king of Azeroth and seeks to wipe out the living from this world.

This expansion adds many features to the base game. The Northrend region is opening its doors to players, with new battlegrounds and the Wintergrasp. Death Knights, the first heroic class, are also appearing, but the creation criteria are not applied. You don’t need a level 55 character to enjoy it. Wrath of the Lich King also sees the landing of achievements as well as calligraphy.
