Remnant 2 is already a commercial success, here are its first sales figures

Nothing predicted Remnant: From the Ashes to success when it was released in August 2019, if not for the talent of its developers, who partly came from Vigil Games (Darksiders). And yet, a million copies of theAction RPG with accents of looter shooter in October 2019, and more than 3 million at the end of 2021.

The direct sequel Remnant 2, released on July 25, will it also seduce the public? It’s on the way, because in just a few days, it reached a peak of simultaneous players more than twice that of Remnant: From the Ashes and, above all, she has achieved more than 1 million sales. A nice score, Gearbox Publishing surely hope to swell more over the months.

“To everyone who has helped us reach this important milestone, we thank you for your continued support. It was a multi-year journey for us and we couldn’t be happier to see the fans having such a great time with a game that we put our hearts and souls into,” David Adams of Gunfire Games.

“Remnant II exceeded all of our expectations both commercially and critically. We are incredibly proud of the Gunfire team and everyone at Gearbox Publishing who brought this title to life. We rejoice and are incredibly grateful to the Remnant community who have supported us and the Gunfire team throughout development. To all the new Remnant fans who joined our community last week, we’re so glad you joined us on this journey,” Yoon Im, President of Gearbox Publishing San Francisco.

Remnant 2 is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and you can order your copy from €49.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
