Stickers are often difficult to remove. But with the right household tips, you won’t have to tinker for long. We tell you which home remedies really help and don’t leave any unsightly stains:
- detergent: Particularly Glass and porcelain can be soaked well in warm water and washing-up liquid. The adhesive dissolves and can be easily removed. Also leftover glue wallpapers and specially scotch tape can be removed like this.
- cooking oil: adhesive residue plastic can be smeared with cooking oil. After a short time, the residue can be easily removed.
- hairdryer: Super simple and effective: simply heat the adhesive with a hair dryer. So you can remove the stickers without much tweaking. This also works for wallpaper.
- duct tape: No joke! Adhesive residue can also be removed with adhesive tape.
- alcohol/ petroleum ether: Alcohol-based solutions are suitable for stains from double-sided adhesive tape on glass or textiles. Remove adhesive residue: special cases
