A married man! Saturday May 4, 2024, Renaud married Christinewho calls herself Cerise, in the town hall of the 14th arrondissement of Paris, revealed our colleagues fromActu.fr. They went there and were able to witness the arrival and departure of the newlyweds, as evidenced by the photos captured on site. These nuptials were announced in February 2024 by Renaud himself in the columns of the New Republic : “I’m in love with Cerise. I’m going to marry her in… May 2024!”
For the occasion, Renaud opted for a black suit and a white shirt. A very classic ensemble adorned with a red flower, stitched onto the pocket of his jacket. For her part, the young bride chose a white dress enhanced with lace and a crown of flowers, also in shades of red and pink. Jean-Paul Rouve, Vianney, Bénabar, Philippe Lellouche and even Dave were present during this civil ceremony which took place without a cloud. Already married twice, to Dominique Quilichini with whom he had his daughter Lolita and Romane Serda with whom he had his son Malone, Renaud displayed a frank and happy smile for his third wedding.
A meeting on a TV set
It was in 2022 that Renaud and Cerise began their love story. The man who has been fighting addictions for years, and the seamstress from Loire-Atlantique met crossed paths for the first time in 2017 on a TV set. She wore cherry earrings. It was then that Renaud gave him this sweet nickname of Cerise. “We met again on May 12, 2022, the day after my 70th birthday. She had asked for my contact to give me a gift. She is a seamstress and made me a shirt out of bandanas. It touched me, we have discussedI invited her for coffee at home in Paris, then in Provence, then on vacation in Cap-Ferret”he confided to the Parisian on April 30, 2023. Moreover, on their wedding day, Christine wore earrings in the shape of cherries. Perhaps a nod to their meeting?
