By 2030, members of the Alliance plan to launch 30 new battery electric vehicles, 90% of which would be produced on five common platforms, according to these sources.

The three manufacturers would also plan to invest together in France, the United Kingdom, Japan and China to produce electric battery capacities of 220 gigawatt hours in total. They would also plan to share solid-state lithium-ion battery technology developed by Nissan.
