(Boursier.com) — Nissan today published the results for the third quarter of its 2023/2024 fiscal year covering the period from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. The result published by Nissan under Japanese accounting standards for the third quarter of its 2023/2024 fiscal year (period from October 1 to December 31, 2023), after IFRS restatements, will be reflected in the fourth quarter 2023 net income of Renault Group by a negative contribution estimated at -440 million euros.
Thus, Nissan’s contribution to Renault Group’s results for the 2023 financial year amounts to 797 million euros.
As a reminder, following the sale by Renault Group of 211 million Nissan shares announced on December 13, 2023, and the cancellation of the securities acquired as part of this repurchase by Nissan, Renault Group’s participation in the capital of Nissan as of December 31, 2023 is 40.42% (15.79% of Nissan shares held directly and 24.63% of shares held in the French trust of which Renault Group is a beneficiary).
