Renault partners with Atos for data collection to cut costs

PARIS, June 28 (Reuters) – Renault has teamed up with IT group Atos to collect and analyze data, the two companies said on Tuesday, as part of a “strategic collaboration” that will save the automaker of 200 million euros per year.

The two French companies said their data partnership will allow manufacturers to collect and structure industrial equipment data at scale to improve operational performance and product quality.

“Renault Group is already saving 80 million euros per year and aims to deploy this solution in its 35 factories, i.e. 22,000 pieces of equipment by 2023 and to generate savings of 200 million euros per year,” Renault said. .
