Renault partners with Atos to sell an industrial data collection solution

PARIS (Reuters) – Renault has joined forces with the IT group Atos to market a solution for collecting and analyzing industrial data, already used by the car manufacturer, which expects savings of 200 million euros per year.

The two French companies said their data partnership would enable manufacturers to collect and structure industrial equipment data at scale to improve operational performance and product quality.

“This collaboration allows us to commercialize our know-how in order to help companies in the industrial sector in scaling up their digital transformation,” said Jose-Vicente de los Mozos, industrial director Renault.

The manufacturer added that it was already saving 80 million euros per year thanks to this solution, which it intended to deploy in its 35 factories by 2023, which would allow it to save 200 million euros. euros per year.
