(CercleFinance.com) – Renault presents ‘Emblème’, a demo vehicle which embodies its vision of carbon-free mobility, with a goal of net zero carbon by 2040 in Europe and 2050 worldwide.
Designed to reduce CO2 emissions by 90% compared to current models, this family vehicle adopts a decarbonization approach over its entire life cycle.
The Renault Emblème, a 4.80 meter ‘shooting brake’, combines elegance and aerodynamics. Its 100% electric engine is based on a ‘dual-energy’ system, combining a 40 kWh battery for daily use and a hydrogen cell for long journeys.
The model will be exhibited at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, where Ampere will present the technologies enabling this level of decarbonization.
