Renault: the Dacia brand continues to grow in France


(CercleFinance.com) – The car manufacturer Renault on Monday reported a 28.5% increase in sales of its ‘low cost’ brand Dacia in France in 2021.

The diamond firm’s entry-level brand recorded 126,404 passenger car and utility vehicle registrations last year.

Launched in January 2021, the third generation of Sandero and Sandero Stepway alone sold 73,740 units, making it the best-selling model in the private market for the sixth consecutive year.

The small electric city car Spring recorded 11,386 registrations in France last year, according to the automotive group.

Dacia intends to expand its product offering this year, in particular with the launch of the New Jogger, a family vehicle with seven seats, which is scheduled for sale at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
