Renault: Unveils its Trafic Van E-Tech Electric in Hanover

(CercleFinance.com) – Renault intends to take advantage of its presence at the IAA Transportation show, organized in Hanover (Germany) between September 20 and 25, to present ‘the extent of its expertise in 100% electric applications applied to commercial vehicles.’

As part of this show dedicated to the fields of mobility, transport and logistics, the Losange will notably present its E-Tech Electric Trafic Van, the first electrified version of the best-selling Renault Trafic Van, a model that sold 2.2 million copies in more than 50 countries around the world since 1980.

‘As for the other utility models, the electric version makes no compromise on the thermal version and offers the same diversity and the same level of service and adaptation to customer needs’, assures the manufacturer.

The vehicle will be offered in two lengths (5.08 m and 5.48 m) and two heights (1.967 m and 2.498 m) with a loading volume (in van mode) ranging from 5.8 m3 to 8.9 m3

Renault specifies that its electric Trafic is offered with a 90 kW (120 hp) motor with a towing capacity of 750 kg and a loading capacity of 1.1 tonnes.
