A minor was shot and injured on Monday evening in a bus in the city center of Rennes, we learned on Tuesday June 7 from the prosecutor’s office in the Breton capital.

“According to the first elements, yesterday evening around 8 p.m., a group of people boarded the 820 bus (…) at the République stop and physically attacked a young minor aged 15, residing in Rennes , hitting him“Said Philippe Astruc, public prosecutor of Rennes, confirming information from Ouest-France.
“One of the attackers also used a firearm several times, hitting the victim once in the hand. She is in the hospital and has not yet been able to be auditioned“, he added, adding that the “circumstances of these facts remained to be clarified, however, as well as their motive“. A criminal investigation, entrusted to the Territorial Directorate of the Judicial Police (DTPJ) of Rennes, was opened under the qualification of attempted voluntary homicide. No arrests have yet been made, according to the same source.
