Israel denies the allegations
After several attacks in Israel in recent weeks, Israeli security forces have responded with raids and arrests in Palestinian towns and villages.
The Israeli military said troops fired back after coming under “massive fire” in Jenin. There is a possibility “that reporters have been hit – possibly by shots by Palestinian gunmen.”
