A small truck collided head-on with a tractor on Wednesday morning near Altenmarkt im Thale, a cadastral municipality of Hollabrunn in Lower Austria. A driver was seriously injured and brought to the hospital by helicopter.
According to the volunteer fire brigade in Wullersdorf, the injured driver of the transporter was freed from the vehicle by helpers and then taken away with the emergency doctor’s helicopter “Christophorus 2”. Both vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
