A 7-year-old from Feldkirchner was injured on a trip with his grandmother. He swerved into oncoming traffic on his bike and fell.
The grand-grandmother team was cycling on a municipal road in Himmelberg on Friday morning when the boy came across the middle of the road in a sharp right-hand bend. The boy hit an oncoming car and fell. Rescue in action The 7-year-old wore a bicycle helmet. This has most likely prevented worse things from happening. Nevertheless, the child had to be given medical attention by the rescue service. The 59-year-old grandmother and the 77-year-old driver were unharmed.
