Rescuers called for – several injured in accidents on the Planai

There were several skiing accidents on the Schladminger Planai on the holiday: a 41-year-old winter sportswoman from the Czech Republic was particularly badly hit.

Peak activity for the piste rescuers on Friday on the Planai: First, shortly before 12 p.m. on piste 4, there was a collision between a 50-year-old Hungarian skier and a 20-year-old Upper Austrian. The vacationer from Hungary had to be taken to the Diakonissen Hospital in Schladming by the Red Cross with minor injuries. Accident at the intersection of two slopes An accident that occurred a short time later at the intersection of slopes 1 and 5 ended worse: a Czech and a 20-year-old German collided head-on. The 41-year-old suffered serious injuries and had to be flown to the LKH Salzburg by helicopter. The German was taken to the Schladming hospital. Shortly before closing time, two teenagers also collided. However, they did not suffer any serious injuries.
