Reshuffle of the government: this beautiful dumpling of a new minister has not gone unnoticed: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Thursday July 20, 2023, Emmanuel Macron and Elisabeth Borne carried out a reshuffle of the government. Former Secretary of State, Bérangère Couillard has been appointed Minister Delegate in charge of equality between women and men and the fight against discrimination. A new position that is already causing a lot of talk since the former deputy from Rennes committed a (small) odd a few days later. Sunday, July 23, 2023 on his account Twitter, Bérangère Couillard wanted to support the French women’s football team, currently competing for the World Cup. A good intention… which did not go unnoticed. In fact, the minister had to do it three times before he can publish his final message. As journalist Antoine Llorca noted, in her initial version, she first congratulated Les Bleues for standing up to the Jamaicans, whom the journalist described as “very inferior”.

Bérangère Couillard, a minister who made mistakes

Bérangère Couillard wanted to support the French women’s football team but it was not an easy task. The minister’s tweets were deleted but Antoine Llorca had saved them and then shared them with his subscribers. In a second tweet, the member of the government, this time, quoted Corinne Deacon, the team’s coach…who was removed from office in March 2023. “As Corinne Deacon reminds us, there is never an easy group”, she began her message, later deleted. It’s finally the last tweet that will be the good one. “There is never an easy match. Les Bleues deserve all our support. There were missed chances against the Jamaicans during this match”she wrote before continuing: “See you on Saturday against Brazil. We will all be behind them”. Aware that her previous messages have been very noticed, Bérangère Couillard concluded with a touch of humor, saying: “It’s better like that”.
