The trouillometer at 60 FPS

For a few years now, Capcom titles, including Resident Evident, have been running using the in-house engine: RE Engine. Objectively, it gives the publisher’s franchises a visual aspect that is particularly pleasing to the eye. Thanks to an update that will be offered for free this yearthe players of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 will be able to take advantage ofimprovements: ray tracing, FPS gain and 3D audio. What’s more, on PS5, all three games will get DualSense controller support.

Of course, you will need to already own the titles on PS4 or Xbox One. The PC version will also be entitled to an upgrade patch, again at no additional cost. Capcom has shared three new images (one for each game) to give a small preview of the final rendering.

We are now awaiting a slightly more precise deployment date.
