Resident Evil 2: the remake reaches 10 million copies distributed

Capcom struck a blow when it released in January 2019 Resident Evil 2remake of the eponymous game with zombies which follows the young policeman Leon S.Kennedy and Claire Redfield in the police station Raccoon City. A brilliantly revisited version of a cult title, of course, it’s a commercial box.

This week, the Japanese studio has unveiled that 10 million copies of Resident Evil 2 have been distributed since its launch over three years ago. A huge figure that consolidates the remake in its third place among the best-selling games at Capcombehind Monster Hunter: World and Resident Evil 7: Biohazardwhich had 10.8 million copies sold last March.

As a reminder, Resident Evil 2 recently got a free update on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to take advantage of new technical and graphic technologies, even if it is not perfect. You can find the game at €31.99 on Gamesplanet.
