Game Director Yasuhiro Anpo and Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi reaffirmed during a recent livestream that they’re keen to keep the essence of the original game in Resident Evil 4’s remake – and judging by the released video, it seems like they succeeded . In the comments, the fans are over the moon and look forward to the old atmosphere with modernized game mechanics.

Aside from the gameplay, Anpo and Hirabayashi also revealed that Los Ganados are returning but will be completely redesigned.
