Indeed, the reopening of cafes, bars and restaurants is not envisaged before 2021. The newspaper mentions the date of January 15, or even February 1.
The measure is being taken because of the second wave of the health crisis, as catering establishments are the places where people are most likely to catch the coronavirus.
All catering establishments have been closed since October 30, and many professionals fear that they will not be able to recover from such a long shutdown. According to the survey of the National Group of Independents of the hotel and catering industry, the crisis could lead to the closure of 2 out of 3 establishments.
