On Sunday, passers-by sounded the alarm because a cyclist had fallen into the Glan in Klagenfurt.
The accident happened near the Gasthof Puck near Maria Saal. A cyclist fell into the Glan from an as yet unknown cause. Passers-by sounded the alarm. Emergency services searched for the missing person for a good two hours. At around 3 p.m. the all-clear could finally be given. “We found the man floating in the water near Karnburg near Klagenfurt,” says Markus Bräuhaupt from the water rescue service. The casualty was immediately pulled out of the water. “Resuscitation measures are running!”
