It is the return of a game that marked thousands of children of the 80s / 90s. Their children’s phone, a legendary model owned by many toddlers at that time, is making a comeback. But this time he can really make calls. The American brand announced it this Tuesday: this year, to surprise their customers, the giant Matteltarget = “_ blank”> markets their new Chatter Phone. This is an “old-fashioned” landline phone for today’s kids.
The particularity of this new model: to make real phone calls
Be careful, this old-fashioned phone is still a toy. The dial to dial the numbers does not really allow you to make calls. This special version of the Chatter Telephone has Bluetooth connectivity, so it can be paired with your iPhone or Android smartphone. The latter obviously has a handset, equipped with a speaker and a microphone, allowing the user to transfer their mobile calls to the Chatter Telephone and use it for a “Real” communication with family members and within your home.
Its small wheels, identical to those of the original model, allow it to keep its “mobile” side. The toy even has the luxury of having a speakerphone so the whole family can participate in an audio call together. It will be necessary to remember to recharge it from time to time via the USB cable: its autonomy is about 10 hours.

For the time being, the toy is only available in the United States and only on the waiting list! We hope that the French will soon be able to order this relic of the past in its modern version. It is currently sold at 60 dollars (51.50 euros), against 10 dollars (8.50 euros) for the original.
