To everyone’s surprise, Terrible Toybox and Developer Digital announced earlier this month Return to Monkey Island, new episode of the cult series of LucasArtsnow called Lucasfilm Games. The title is designed by Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman, and already has everything to seduce fans.
But while the game is expected in the coming months, we have so far only been entitled to a teaser. Good news though, AdventureGamers spoke with the developers, the opportunity for him to share first images of Return to Monkey Island. The visual style will obviously be more modern than in the 90s. We can already discover a courthouse, the main street of the‘Melee Island or even a locksmith’s shopwhich we should therefore come across during the adventure.
It is certain that Return to Monkey Island will talk about him again soon, the point & click is expected in 2022, on platforms still unknown. You can find The Curse of Monkey Island to €5.69 on GOG.com.
