Konami finally got out the license silent Hill out of the closet, after too many years of not using it. To celebrate this return, the publisher had a package of announcements to reveal to us during the Silent Hill Transmission which took place last night, with no less than three games in development at different studios. But that’s not all he had in store. Konami also wants to exploit its license through different mediums, starting with cinema and an interactive series.
Silent Hill really will be everywhere in 2023
We already knew, Christopher Gans is back behind the camera and is currently busy putting together the next film silent Hill.
This will eventually be called Return to Silent Hilland promises to bring back some memories, sinceit will be inspired by the story of Silent Hill 2. Which is good, that this episode will be entitled to its remake very soon.
No release date for the feature film has been confirmed, but filming should start in a few months.
It’s a bit fuzzier on the side of Silent Hill Climb. The project is described as an interactive series, during which the community will have to make collective choices to move the narrative forward in certain directions.
A lot of people have been assigned to this project, since we find Genvid, Bad Robot Games, Behavior Interactive (Dead by Daylight), as well as the production company dj2 Entertainment. The release is scheduled for 2023.
