According to her, the 13-year-old girl was the victim of a malaise and is unconscious. That day, the girl arrived at school with bruises, struggling to move. She then explained to her teacher that his mother had him “punished”. But the file is finally dismissed and Sandrine tries to pass off her daughter as a “liar”.
Amandine, a little girl constantly punished and insulted

His mother always managed to justify his actions towards his daughter, explaining, for example, that the psychologists had recommended that he punish Amandine so that she behaves better. Once in college, the little girl lives at boarding. She only sees her mother on weekends. But the Covid-19 passed by and forced the little girl to go back to live with Sandrine.
The horror therefore resumed with a vengeance. Except this time screams of Amandine were heard even in the street and recorded by a neighbor. The little girl also gets beaten up by his mother, who forces him to call her “madam”. The girl cannot leave her house. The few times she goes out, the inhabitants of Montblanc are concerned of the state in which Amandine is. But, once again, the mother of the family lies to everyone, assuring that her daughter is sick. On the phones of Sandrine and her spouse, Jean-Michel, videos prove that the girl was abused. On some of them, the gendarmes discover that the child has been locked up, naked, in a cubbyhole. Amandine’s brothers and sisters say they suffered the same fate.
Amandine’s mother and stepfather were finally arrested in May 2021then remanded in custody since May 27 for “deprivation of care and food resulting in death”. Sandrine and Jean-Michel made conditional release applications, which were refused by the Montpellier Court of Appeal (Hérault). The two suspects risk today up to 30 years’ imprisonment.
Sandrine and her spouse remain presumed innocent of the charges against them.
