PARIS, January 12 (Reuters) – Rexel said on Wednesday it had exceeded its targets for 2021 on the back of better-than-expected commercial activity in the fourth quarter.

The group estimates that constant-day sales growth reached 15.3% last year against a forecast of between 12% and 15%, thanks to a dynamic recovery, especially in the United States, and the acceleration of inflation.

Adjusted EBITDA margin is expected to be 6.2% for 2021 versus a forecast of 5.7%.

“We are starting the year 2022 with significant order books both at Rexel and with our customers, driven by healthy underlying demand and projects that were postponed from last year due to the poor availability of labor. -work and tensions in the supply chain, “said Rexel in a press release.

The group will unveil its detailed annual results on February 11.
