(Boursier.com) — Third session of marked increase for Rexel which gains 3.8% to 15.5 euros this weekend. The title of the world leader in the professional distribution of electrical equipment is surrounded as several analysts have reviewed their copy on the file. If Kepler Cheuvreux lowered its target from 19 to 16 euros while remaining to ‘hold’, Goldman Sachs reiterated its ‘buy’ opinion despite a target reduced from 28 to 25 euros. As for Exane BNP Paribas, it raised to ‘outperform’ its recommendation on the value with an adjusted target of 20 to 18 euros.

Adjustments that occur three days after Rexel indicated that it had received, on July 4, a notification of grievances from the Competition Authority in the extension of the investigations carried out in 2018. The Authority’s investigation services believe that Rexel would have implemented, with some of its suppliers, practices allegedly intended to restrict its freedom to determine its resale prices.

Rexel “is currently studying the statement of objections, which in no way prejudges the guilt of the companies involved and constitutes the usual first step in adversarial proceedings before the Competition Authority”. The group ensured that it “constantly ensures strict compliance with the laws and regulations in force and the Group will assert its position and its rights within the framework of this procedure”.
