In an interview given to Parisian, the host revealed that she was living her last hours on the air. “A seven-year term is a nice cycle. I have a twinge in my heart since the people I work with have become more than colleagues. But it was a necessary decision for my family and for me“, she confided. While for seven years, she gets up between 3 and 4 am and connects her professional activities and her day as a mother, the pretty blonde explained: “I feel the need to breathe a little, to also resume actions with Unicef of which I am godmother. And above all to put my family back at the center of my life… and to make my mother rejoice, by dropping off my children in front of the school door and shouting ‘I love you!’“

Revealing to have had “some health issues“, Elodie Gossuin said: “My rhythm did not allow me to really recover from this quirky daily life. Without going into details, I had to rest a little.“However, it was not an easy decision to make.”Again this morning, in the various departments… Seeing their emotion is my greatest reward“, she let go before adding: “With Albert (Spano, editor’s note), it was special. I feel like I’m letting her go. We really became friends, we know each other by heart. I am very proud of what we have done, but this decision was necessary and he understands that.“

Let the fans be reassured, Miss France 2001 does not draw a final line on the radio. “I will come back to it. It’s a passion and it’s addictive (…) But today, I aspire to a schedule more compatible with my life as a mother. And I know how lucky I was. There is little place given to women on the radio, or as a stooge for a better-known presenter“, she revealed. In the meantime, viewers will soon find her on television. She indeed declared: “I shot Le Plus grand karaoke de France with Éric Antoine, which will soon be broadcast. I am very happy that this group trusts me and that there has been this relationship of loyalty for five years. We are working on other projects together, whether on M6, W9 or of course 6ter.“
