Romane Bohringer: she recently paid tribute to her father on stage
Since 2009, Richard Bohringer has been battling serious health problems. He also had to face cancer. After putting his career on hold, the actor recently performed on stage. Indeed, in October and November 2023, the writer took to the stage of the Théâtre de l’Atelier several times to read his book Fifteen Rounds. Directed by his daughter, Romane Bohringer, the two stars had a very moving experience together. On October 22, 2023, the 50-year-old actress wrote on her Instagram account, in the caption of a video of her father crying on stage: “Something extraordinary is happening at the Atelier theater… An emotion that overwhelms me: see my dad defies all odds, standing, alive, my champion. And seeing people love it, celebrate it…” In addition to this play, Romane Bohringer also honored the memory of her father in her film, The‘Blurred Lovein 2018.
