Richard Lugner and his girlfriend Simone got engaged.

Richard Lugner and his girlfriend Simone are engaged. She can also imagine “having children”.
At his birthday party, Richard “Mörtel” Lugner (89) proposed to his girlfriend Simone (39). In conversation with the “Bild” newspaper the Austrian construction manager explains: “She’s moving in with me now, but I can feel that she’s really the right one this time.” It would be the sixth marriage for the 89-year-old. Most recently he was married to Cathy “Spatzi” Schmitz (31) from 2014 to 2016.
Faux pas with the application
His “bee”, as he calls Simone, declared after the engagement: “We neither wanted to get married nor have children. Then I said that I would like to get married. And now, to be honest, I can even imagine having children . ” It has not yet been determined when Lugner would like to appear in front of the altar again.
Previously, the daily had already “Kurier” reports on Lugner’s engagement on their homepage. “Cupid, he grabbed me like that”, the construction manager opened his application, which he made a small faux pas. “I made a mistake, I just put the ring on her finger and she stood there as a fiancé without being asked because I had clarified that with her beforehand,” he explained to the “courier”.
Since June 2021, Lugner has appeared in public with his now fiancée. The two met through a dating call in the newspaper.
