Concern about Richard "Mörtel" Lugner grows: After his serious fall, complications arise. It was "mud," he explained.

The Viennese building contractor Richard "Mörtel" Lugner (87) is still in a Viennese hospital after falling in his house. In addition to the fracture of the femoral joint capsule, complications appear to arise.

"Lying pneumonia is on the march," the 87-year-old told the Austrian newspaper "Kurier". He added: "Maybe you can still slow it down." Intestinal bleeding would also bother him: "You try to get that under control, too," added Lugner, who initially assumed that he would have to stay in the hospital bed for about a month. It is "mud".

What happened?

How it came to the injury that he sustained on Friday, Lugner told the "Kronen Zeitung": On the way to the toilet, he slipped on the floor previously wiped by his housekeeper and "fell full on the basin". He broke the "thigh joint capsule".
