Richard Lugner has married his wife Simone, alias “Bienchen,” for the sixth time. Now the newlywed is raving about the building contractor, revealing details about their relationship – and revealing that the wedding night was “very long.”
Richard Lugner, 91, and Simone Reiländer, 42, were already in a relationship in 2021, when the famous building contractor asked his “little bee” the question of all questions. But the engagement fell through. In April of this year, they found each other again. “We’ve been doing a lot together recently and realized that we belong together,” the businessman told “Bild”. On June 1, 2024, the two finally said “I do” in Vienna’s town hall. Now the bride is spilling the beans and revealing some details about her love for Richard “Mörtel” Lugner and their wedding night.

The now married couple met three years ago through an ad in an Austrian newspaper. Richard was looking for a woman, and Simone applied. “I always liked him, but at the time he was always out with some crazy women. So I thought to myself: he needs a smart woman again!” Simone now says in an interview with “Bild”. However, it was not love at first sight. The relationship developed slowly. After every date she felt a “warm feeling” and noticed: “Richard was just good for me.”
Her husband is incredibly hardworking and successful. He simply knows what is important in life – that impressed her. “I always wanted a partner I could look up to and learn from,” said the 42-year-old. In addition, Richard Lugner is a true gentleman and has “a kind, big heart.”
“We had a very long wedding night”
The newlyweds go on to explain that the age difference of almost 50 years “never bothered” her. “The important thing is that you are compatible. And on the subject of money. Unfortunately, that’s how society is. You can do whatever you want, but someone always wants to find something bad. I find that simply outrageous,” she stresses.
Despite criticism, Simone and Richard enjoyed their wedding to the fullest. “We had a very long wedding night,” Simone reveals, adding: “Longer than the wedding day.” She doesn’t say exactly what she means by that. But the Austrian had previously revealed in an interview with the publication that he would not share the marital bed with Simone after the ceremony. “I snore very loudly and Simone can’t stand that. We go to sleep in separate rooms – just like at home.” So it seems as if the newlywed couple partied all night to celebrate their love.
