Mourning for Rick Aiello: The son of the US star Danny Aiello, who died in 2019, died of pancreatic cancer on Monday.
Rick Aiello (1956-2021), the son of US actor and singer Danny Aiello (1933-2019), who died in 2019, is dead. That has his family the US celebrity portal “TMZ” confirmed. Accordingly, the actor died on July 26th in a hospital in Warwick, New York, from his pancreatic cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2020. He was 65 years old and left behind his wife and two children.
Like his father, Rick Aiello was also an actor. He was seen in Spike Lee’s (64) “Do the Right Thing” (1989), in which Danny Aiello played one of the leading roles. Rick Aiello also appeared in the films “Jungle Fever” (1991) and “Twin Peaks – The Film” (1992) and had guest roles in various television series, including “Sex and the City”, “The Sopranos” and “Law & Order” : Criminal Intent “. From 1997 to 1998 he worked with his famous father on the series “Dellaventura”.

Rick Aiello’s brother also died of pancreatic cancer in 2010. In December 2019, an infection led to his father Danny Aiello’s death. He was 86 years old. He played in countless cinema and TV productions, including the 1974 cult film “The Godfather – Part II” alongside Robert De Niro (77) and Al Pacino (81). In 1989 he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the tragic comedy “Do the Right Thing”.
