Rick and Morty The Anime, first glimpse of the Japanese animated series with its colorful and frantic opening

Ousted from the production of his series rick and morty after a conviction for forcible confinement and domestic violence, Justin Roiland will not participate in the creation or dubbing of the next seasons. The executive producer and his teams took over the helm, and moreover entrusted the San Diego Comic-Con this week that they were currently finalizing the search for new voice actors for Rick, Morty and the other characters dubbed by Roiland, and above all that season 7 was “in the box” and will be released “soon”.

While waiting for the release date of the next episode, it is a side project that showed more during the show. You remember Rick and Morty The Animethe 10-episode series by Takashi Sano produced by Telecom Animation Movie ? It is more topical than ever and her opening necessarily completely crazy has been revealedgiving us a first moving look at the product.

Nervous staging, clean lines, dazzling colors and lively Japanese music (Love is Entropy composed by Otone) : if the rest of the miniseries lives up to the opening credits, we’ll be amazed. Several characters and passages from the main series are also referenced in the sequence, which seems to indicate thata mysterious blonde lady will be at the center of the plot.

Takashi Sano also spoke in the same video to reassure fans, explaining that he himself was a fan of rick and morty and he hoped to breathe a wind of Japanese madness into the interdimensional journeys of our heroes, while also bringing a conclusion that will put us “in a particular state of mind”. Respect and originality, that should be interesting. Rick and Morty The Anime still does not have an official release period.

Season 6 of rick and morty is available on Blu-ray from €24.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
